A 2003 Chevrolet Silverado stolen on August 18th in the Dixon area has been recovered

A 2003 Chevrolet Silverado reported stolen on August 18th in the Dixon area has been recovered and returned to its owner. A Brumley man has been charged by Miller County prosecutors with first-degree motor vehicle tampering and forgery in connection to the theft. 36-year-old Brent Whittle has been charged and taken to the Miller County jail in Tuscumbia, but released upon posting a 100-thousand dollar Bond. Whittle’s arraignment on the charges is scheduled for October 16th.
