$900,000 worth of drug seized in Camden County

Narcotics and marijuana valued at nearly a million dollars was seized during an investigation in the Horseshoe Bend area. According to the Camden County Sheriff’s Office, on February 14th, Deputies, Task Force officers from Lake Area Narcotics Enforcement and the Highway Patrol descended on a residence just off Bittersweet Road which was being used to store and distribute large amounts of illegal drugs. At the scene investigators seized approximately 4 pounds of psilocybin mushrooms, 13-hundred-83 psilocybin mushroom edible products infused with approximately 9 pounds of psilocybin mushrooms, approximately 1 pound of THC wax, more than 5-thousand THC products containing approximately 18 pounds of THC, approximately 10 pounds of high-grade marijuana, and controlled narcotic pills (Oxycodone and Alprazolam). In addition to the drugs investigators seized $25,000. The investigation continues as investigators follow leads to the source and destination of the narcotics.
