The Laclede County Health Department has identified nine more confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Laclede County. That brings the total to 124, with 44 of those cases being active. One of the cases is an employee, or resident, of a long-term care facility. Many of these cases are household contacts to previous cases. No public exposure locations were identified. One of the new cases had no known contact with any infected individuals. 90 cases have been identified over the last two weeks. Laclede County Health Department Administrator, Charla Baker, says any public contact is a possible exposure risk due to the rapid spread of the virus in our community. Anyone who thinks they may have come into contact with someone with the virus should monitor for symptoms for 14 days, and contact their medical care provider.
