Pulaski County Officials Explain Use Tax Proposal On The April 2nd Ballot

The annual Municipal and School elections are less than two weeks away. And Pulaski County officials are hoping voters will approve the use tax proposal that will be on the ballot.
Simply put, the use tax proposal if passed by voters April 2nd would not result in higher taxes for residents in the county.
Pulaski County Clerk David Ernst says the county use tax would merely see that the county receives its fair share of sale taxes on goods that are purchased online. The state already is collecting those taxes, but only releasing a share of tax money to the counties and communities who pass a use tax proposal.

The polls will open at 6 o’ clock on Tuesday, April 2nd.
