A Waynesville couple was charged with child molestation in Pulaski County

A Waynesville couple was charged with child molestation in Pulaski County. According to court documents, Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department detectives on Sunday received a call from the Waynesville Police Department stating they had received a child molestation report in a location along Historic Route 66.
Waynesville PD officers told the Sheriff’s Department that while speaking to the couple at that location, the two admitted to molesting two juvenile girls back in 2017.
Waynesville PD contacted the Sheriff’s Office because they realized the alleged molestation happened outside the city limits, making it a case for the Sheriff’s Department to investigate. According to court documents, the Sheriff’s Department says that when detectives interviewed 36-year-old Charlotte Nightingale, she admitted to touching a juvenile girl inappropriately. When they interviewed 28-year-old Marshall Nightingale, he confessed to touching two juvenile girls inappropriately.
The Pulaski County Prosecutor’s Office has charged Charlotte Nightingale with one count of Second-Degree Child Molestation and charged Marshall Nightingale with two counts of Second-Degree Child Molestation.
