70th Anniversary Korean War Armistice Day Event

The annual 70th anniversary Korean War Veteran Armistice Day is coming up. The event will take place in the morning and it is in honor and remembrance of the veterans who served on active duty during the Korean War. The Missouri Veterans Commission is hosting the event, and it is a free event to the public. Executive director of the Missouri Veterans Commission Paul Kirchhoff says that the ceremony is intended to give a huge thank you to all of those Korean veterans who served for us.

Kirchhoff says that they will have Colonel John Clark helping out with the Prisoners of War Missing in Action remembrance ceremony.

The 70th anniversary Korean War Veterans Armistice day event ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday July 27th at the Missouri State Capitol on the first floor rotunda.

Kirchhoff says you can RSVP online by going to the Missouri Veterans Commission website
