70 deaths reported in Laclede County Missouri due to Coronavirus

The Laclede County Health Department is reporting 11 new Laboratory confirmed cases of Covid 19 between Friday and today(tues). 9 of the newly confirmed cases were showing symptoms, 2 were not. 5 of the cases are assumed community spread, and 6 cases had close contact with someone else who tested positive. These latest numbers bring the total of confirmed cases of COVID 19 in Laclede County to 34-hundred 12. According to the Laclede County Health Department, 33-hundred-6 people have recovered and 70 people have died in Laclede County due to complications related to Covid 19. The Health Department continues to monitor close contacts of the most recent cases. Health officials continue to advise everyone to get vaccinated and continue to wear a mask while in public and continue frequent handwashing.
