Latin American Heritage Mural revealed on Tuesday

The Lebanon High School Visual Arts Department held a ribbon-cutting ceremony in the Staff Development Center with artists-in-residence Linda Spencer and Roberto Regalado from Laughingwell Studios on Tuesday afternoon. Art teachers recognized the work of about fifty student and community artists that brought this artwork to life with their own input in the painted tile borders. Foreign Exchange Student Zana Jelovac who is from Serbia was able to tie her own country into the project….

In total, there are 58 tiles creating a multi-dimensional work of art at the high school. The project was made possible, in part, by a grant from the Missouri Arts Council.
