Car Seat and Booster Seat Check At Boswell Park April 6th

Cox Health, and the Missouri State Highway Patrol, are partnering today (Thursday) to make sure that parents have properly installed car seats for their children. Corporal Ralicia (Ruh-leash-uh) Tyler, with the Missouri State Highway Patrol, says a majority of car seats are not installed correctly. Corporal Tyler says the improperly installed car seats just comes down to a lack of training on correct installation……….

Corporal Tyler says parents also need to make sure their child is in the appropriate seat, and that booster seats are also properly installed……..

Parents wishing to have their car seats and booster seats checked today (Thursday) can stop by Boswell Park. Representatives from Cox Health and the Missouri State Highway Patrol will be at that location until 2 p.m. Studies have shown that over 50 percent of car seats and booster seats are improperly installed by parents.
