Raid Nets Meth In Pulaski County

Law enforcement agencies including the Lake Area Narcotics Enforcement Group, South Central Drug Task Force, Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department, and Missouri State Highway Patrol, carried out a narcotics search warrant in Waynesville, early Thursday morning.

Authorities seized a digital scale with residue that tested positive for the presence of methamphetamine and fentanyl, as well as a handgun from the residence. A subsequent search of a nearby storage unit also led to the discovery of approximately 597 grams of methamphetamine, along with another digital scale.

Formal charges are being requested and expected to be filed soon by the Pulaski County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office. However, the identity of the suspect has not yet been released.
