A former Lebanon attorney is facing multiple charges following an investigation by the Missouri Department of Labor. 52-year-old Jeffrey B Allen is facing around 57 charges of Violation Of Any Of The Provisions Of Sec 287.128.3 Regarding Claims For Worker’S Comp Benefits. Allen is accused of making false or fraudulent claims, in some cases using the names of individuals who weren’t aware of the claim filed for Workers Compensation, and hadn’t retained Allen to represent them. Additional claims against Allen say that he filed the claim for individuals but they didn’t receive any money, or they didn’t receive the full amount. The complaint against Allen adds up to thousands of dollars which the Attorney Generals’ office claims were denied to the individuals whose names were on the Workers Comp settlements. If found guilty on the charges, Allen could face from 4 years in prison on each misdemeanor charge and up to 10 years in prison on each felony charge and fines up to $10-thousand on each charge.
