Record setting Community Cares Radiothon Friday

The annual KJEL 103.7 Community Cares Radiothon took place on Friday. The radiothon helps provides funding for Community Cares grant requests. The amount of grant money requested this year from various non-profit organizations stands at nearly 200-thousand dollars. The amount of money raised during Friday’s Radiothon will eclipse 56-thousand dollars, which broke the old record by a significant amount. That money will be used to provide grants to organizations such as Crosslines, The Salvation Army, OATS, The New Life House, and many more.
