Lebanon Christmas Parade Theme Chosen

The Lebanon Christmas Parade is coming up on November 19th, and people who want to increase exposure for their business, organization or group are encouraged to enter the parade. On Wednesday, the Parade Committee considered a large number of parade theme suggestions, choosing one. Lebanon Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Darrell Pollock announces the theme of the parade…

The winning theme was submitted by Lebanon elementary student Kaylee Beth Shoemaker, who will receive $100 and will be invited to ride in the Lebanon Christmas Parade as a dignitary. Individuals and groups that would like to have a float or entry in the Lebanon Christmas Parade can find the registration form at the Lebanon Area Chamber of Commerce office, on their website or via email at [email protected]. A donation of $10 is requested for your Lebanon Christmas Parade entry.

This year’s Grand Marshal is Dan True, who served as a member of the parade committee for a number of years, and an instrumental part of organizing the parade each year. True also served as a member of the Lebanon City Council and was a member of the Lebanon Zoning and Planning Commission for several years.
