However, using a VPN, or virtual protection network, and encryption can further protect your data. Schomaker also stresses the importance of keeping your internet browser and system up to date.

Remember, most reliable VPNs, encryption services, and third-party browsers will have a fee. Do your research, and protect yourself in a way that works best for you.
