The state of Missouri reported 3,900 new cases on Friday, in addition to 31 new deaths. The total number of dead now stands at 4,481. Over 338-thousand Missourians have now been sickened or killed due to the COVID virus. The United States will cross 300-thousand deaths next week. Nearly 2,800 Missourians are currently hospitalized with the virus. The positivity rate in Laclede County is over 28 percent this week (the 18th highest in the state), while the state’s positivity rate remains around 19 percent over the same time frame.
