4 people were arrested during a narcotics investigation by the Mid Missouri Drug Task Force and the Miller County Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday. According to the Miller County Sheriff’s Office, the investigation began when they were looking for Terry Weaver was arrested on a charge of failing to appear in court on multiple charges. Weaver attempted to hide from officers and was located on the banks of the Osage River. A search warrant was then executed on Weaver’s residence, where Methamphetamine and other narcotics were located, along with a firearm. Terry Weaver has been charged additionally with possession of a controlled substance, possession of a firearm by prohibited persons, and resisting arrest. The investigation also led to the arrest of Kenneth Weaver for 1 count of possession of a controlled substance, and 2 counts of 1st-degree child endangerment, Randy Helton was charged with 2 counts of possession of a controlled substance, and Leslie Burgess who was charged with 1 count possession of a controlled substance. They were all taken to the Miller County Jail.
