After a successful month of volunteers cleaning up some area highways during the Laclede County Beautification Project, Lebanon Mayor Jared Carr reminds city residents there are roads available for groups to adopt to help keep the city clean. Carr says the adopt a street program can also be a good fundraiser for volunteers.

You can reach the Lebanon Public Works Department at 588-6090. The county’s efforts resulted in over 290 bags of trash and 10 pickup loads of debris removed from highways in the county.
