341 traffic crashes reported by the Highway Patrol over the holiday weekend

The Missouri Highway Patrol investigated 341 traffic crashes that led to the death of 6 people over the 2020 Memorial Day weekend. In those 341 crashes, there were 112 injuries reported. Troopers also arrested 111 people for DWI and they made 112 drug arrests. There were 10 boat crashes, with 7 injuries. 11 arrests for Boating while intoxicated, and 3 drug arrests. Two people died on Missouri waterways; one on Lake Taneycomo and the other on the Elk River in McDonald County. The 2020 Memorial Day weekend counting period began Friday at 6 pm and ended on Monday at 11:59 pm
