31-year-old Waynesville man is in the Pulaski County Jail in Waynesville after being indicted Friday by a Pulaski County grand jury
A 31-year-old Waynesville man–identified as Robert Snyder– is in the Pulaski County Jail in Waynesville after being indicted Friday by a Pulaski County grand jury on charges of burglary, possession of an illegal weapon, unlawful use of a weapon, and three counts of first-degree harassment. According to court documents, county deputies spoke to a victim at a residence on Hillview Lane who told them her ex-boyfriend–Snyder–walked into her house the evening of June 12th with a black handgun, which he loaded and pointed at her and a friend. Those documents allege that Snyder threatened to kill her and her friend, and shoved her when she tried to get out of the house. He allegedly took her cell phone away from her and left the scene. Waynesville police officers reported they found Snyder later at his residence in the 100 Block of Olive Street. Upon searching his vehicle, they allegedly found a black Glock Model 22 40-caliber semi-automatic handgun that matched the victim’s description of the gun used in the June 12th incident. Snyder was previously charged with felony first-degree harassment in three separate incidents on May 10th, May 23rd, and June 4th. The bond has been set at 250 thousand dollars. He awaits an arraignment on the charges on July 10th.
