The Laclede County Health Department has reported another 31 cases of COVID 19. That brings the number of 837 cases that are currently being monitored in Laclede County. 31 of the most recently reported cases were symptomatic, 13 were identified as close contacts to a previously reported positive case, 4 were identified as a household contact, and 14 are identified as community spread. To date, Laclede County has reported a total of 24-hundred -48 positive cases, with 15-hundred-72 reported as recovered and 39 deaths. According to the Health Department, they are monitoring multiple close contacts. Since the beginning of the 20-21 school year, Lebanon R-3 has reported 204 positive cases affecting students and staff. Conway School District has reported a total of 15 for the school year, Joel E Barber has had 9 and Gasconade C-4 has had 3 for the school year. Everyone is encouraged to continue wearing a mask when you leave the house, wash your hands frequently, and do not gather in large groups, and stay 6 feet away from others and stay home if you are sick. If you feel sick with a fever, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, and a loss of taste or smell, contact your physician for directions.
