3 injured in head on collision

2 people were seriously injured during a collision between a car and a van on Friday, in Webster County. According to the Highway Patrol, 39 year old Alexander Olson of Gainsville was driving on Route “A” and attempted to pass another vehicle, but collided head-on with a van driven by 35 year old Bradley Sturdefant of Marshfield. Both drivers were seriously injured in the crash. A 4-year-old girl that was in the van with Sturdefant received minor injuries. Sturdevant and the child were taken to Mercy Hospital in Springfield for treatment. Olson was taken to Cox South Hospital. That wreck happened about 3 and a half miles south of Marshfield on Friday morning.
