2nd Suspect in custody following a pursuit and shots fired

A woman who is facing multiple charges in connection with a pursuit in Laclede County on Friday is now in custody. Lori Diann Phillips, was arrested on Wednesday. She was allegedly the driver of a car that was involved in a pursuit the led officers through part of Lebanon and on to I-44, where it crashed. Laclede County Sheriff David Millsap says Phillips is facing multiple charges because she was driving….

The passenger in the car, Troy Covey is accused of firing shots at law enforcement during the pursuit.

Phillips and Covey are charged with 2 counts of armed criminal action, resisting arrest by fleeing, assault and delivery of a controlled substance. Phillips is scheduled for a bond review hearing on March 25th.
