The Laclede County Health Department reported 7 new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday. That brings the total number of cases in the county to 273, with 28 of those currently active. The state of Missouri reported 1,512 new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday, bringing the total number to nearly 80-thousand statewide. 1,450 people have died. 902 people remain hospitalized with COVID-19 in Missouri. Baker says one of the 28 active cases in Laclede County remains in the hospital. Laclede County has reported 96 cases of COVID-19 during the month of August.
