The 2020 Lebanon Christmas Parade went off as scheduled in spite of early morning rains and a pandemic participants stayed dry and practiced social distancing for the most part. Lebanon Area Chamber of Commerce Director Darrell Pollock was happy with Saturday’s events.

With the pandemic and weather conditions, participation in this years event was scaled back

Every year awards are given in several categories Pollock said this year was no exception:

This year’s Parade Grand Marshal was a longtime businessman and civic leader Will Bradley, Bradley was honored:

Bradley was a salesman for Skelly Oil when he heard of a truck stop in Lebanon for sale:

Bradley and Ed Day were long time owners of the B and D Auto Truck Plaza in Lebanon. He says the city of Lebanon was very welcoming then.

In addition to being a longtime business leader, Bradley was a Lebanon city councilman, is a 33rd degree Shriner, Mason, Green Jacket Ambassador for the Lebanon Area Chamber of Commerce, Rotarian. Bradley was also instrumental in the development of the Chamber of Commerce Wall of Fame and the building of the Cowan Civic Center and is also involved with the Missouri State University Alumni Association. Bradley has been married to his wife Pat for 70 years.
