The Laclede County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate thefts that occured on the 21st and 22nd of February. On the 21st, the owner of a business in the 20-thousand block of Highway W reported that when his employee’s attempted to start a truck, they found the battery was gone. It was reported that the battery was missing from several vehicles. Further investigation revealed that 25 truck batteries were stolen from the business.

Deputies responded to a burglary call on February 22nd, in the 24-thousand block of Pine Tree Road.The property owner reported that a shp building was broken into, and a game camera was taken from the property. The SD card that belonged to the camera was found on the ground, near where the camera was mounted. The camera had taken a photo of the suspect and their vehicle. The Sheriff’s Office is continuing to investigate.
