2024 County Budget To Be Sent Out for Public To Comment On Soon

The Laclede County Commissioners are wrapping up the final touches on the 2024 county budget. The commissioners have discussed a couple of increases to the budget for 2024. Most costs are going up in the world so Presiding Commissioner Randy Angst says the commissioners focused on an increase in revenue.
The public plays a huge role in helping out with the county budget, so it’s important to always comment on the budget when it gets sent out. Angst says that the public has 10 days to do so once the budget gets approved.
Angst says the budget should be finalized later this afternoon, or no later than tomorrow.
