2021 Veteran of the Year

The Waynesville-St. Robert Chamber of Commerce has announced the 2021 Veteran of the Year, who will be celebrated at the Veterans’ Day Ceremony and Parade on Thursday, November 11th. Retired Sergeant First Class Johnnie Bryant will be recognized at the ceremony and will lead the parade as the Parade Marshal.  Sergeant Bryant served with the U.S. Army, trained at Fort Leonard Wood, and then went on to be a 92 Yankee. He was stationed throughout the world, including two tours to Germany, two tours to Korea, Fort Jackson, SC, and Irvine, CA, ending his career where he started, in Missouri. He retired at Fort Leonard Wood on November 30th, 2006.
