2020 Census begins soon. St Robert Mayor believes the community was under reported in 2010

(St. Robert)–2020 Federal Census activities should begin in about six weeks. St. Robert Mayor George Lauritson says his city and other local communities were short-changed by the 2010 census.

The census underreporting of 23 percent in 2010 meant thousands of fewer dollars for the community.
He urges members of the military population to report where they’re living for the 2020 census, not where they’re from.

Official Census questionnaires should be mailed out around March 1st.
