2020 Can-Am Games comes to Lake of the Ozarks region

Competitors from emergency services agencies from across the country will be gathering in the Lake of the Ozarks region for the 2020 Can-Am Police and Fire Games. The Olympic style event which started as a competition between police and fire in Washington, Oregon and Canada, is now held in select states in the U.S. During the Police and Fire Games, athletes will compete in over 40 events at various locations.

The 2018 Can-Am Game brought in $10-thousand-dollars in profit which was donated to Special Olympics Missouri, and Cook said they hope to do even better this year.
