$20,000 worth of methamphetamine seized

A St Robert man was arrested this morning in Laclede County for felony drug possession. According to Laclede County Sheriff David Millsap, a Laclede County deputy was on patrol in a neighborhood watch area on Falcon Road, when he noticed a truck parked at the end of a driveway, and it seemed out of place. The driver was asleep and the deputy made contact with him and was given consent to search. During the search, over 202 grams of methamphetamine was seized. The 41 year old St Robert man, who is on Federal Probation for theft of government property, was taken into custody, with charges pending. According to Sheriff Millsap the street value of the drugs that were seized is approximately $20-thousand-dollars.
