2 arrested for drug trafficking
2 men are facing felony charges of drug trafficking following an investigation in Camden County. Officers with LANEG, the Camden County Sheriff’s Office and DEA, served a search warrant on Wednesday in the 41-hundred block of Pier 31 Road at a houseboat. Officers detained Isaac Wheeler and searched him. During the search, they seized 3 and a half grams of crystal and a meth pipe, and over $11-hundred-dollars that was in his pocket. When officers went to the houseboat and performed a search, they seized 4 bags that contained over a half-pound of methamphetamine, more than $15-thousand-dollars, digital scales, drug paraphernalia, and 3 guns. Officers also located baggies of methamphetamine that weighed more than 2 ounces, that Roy Johnson had allegedly dropped over the side of the boathouse. Wheeler is charged with drug trafficking and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Johnson is charged with drug trafficking, possession of a controlled substance, tampering with evidence, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Both men are being held without bond.
