A vehicle and foot pursuit in Camdenton has led to the arrest of two men. Camden County Deputies attempted to stop a vehicle, in which the passenger was known to have active warrants for his arrest. During the attempted stop, the driver wouldn’t stop, but drove into the parking lot of a business and slowed down to give the passenger time to jump out and run.

A Deputy chased him down and took him into custody. 41 year old Matthew Valentine was arrested on 7 felony warrants and 2 misdemeanor warrants and is being held without bond. He is also charged with felony resisting arrest. The driver of the car, 51 year old James Winfrey of Fulton was charged with interfering with an arrest.
