Laclede Electric Trust gives $5,000 to the Camden County Oats Transit System
The Camden County Oats Transit System has benefited from a 5-thousand dollar matching grant from the Laclede Electric Trust. The Camden County Oats program will be using that money to purchase a new Ford Transit Bus for residents to utilize. Nearly half of all rides given by Camden County Oats are to the sheltered workshop. Another 20 percent of rides are utilized for community employment. Weaver says it’s all about neighbors helping neighbors.
