Several Pulaski County deputies were recently presented awards for on-duty actions during their holiday banquet. One of those to be honored was Deputy Deanna Ross, who received the Medal Of Merit and Certificate of Valor. Several deputies were honored for their lifesaving efforts. Sheriff Bench says these deputies have saved numerous lives by using the drug, Narcan……….

 

Those who received the lifesaving award are Deputies Herring, Kunert, Ross, Chapman, and Parrott, Corporal Catron, Detective Brickner, and Bobby Candee. The Volunteer of the Year award was presented to David Elam, Deputy of the Year went to Deputy Kunert, and Detective of the Year went to Sergeant Christian Butler. Reserve of the Year award was presented to Montana Burgess. Sheriff Bench thanked all of the officers for their hard work throughout the year.
