Two arrested in Texas County

Stolen property was recovered and two men were arrested in Texas County. On December 9, 2019 Texas County Deputies, assisted by the Missouri State Highway
Patrol recovered a stolen trailer at a residence on Highway 32 in the Licking area. The trailer was reported stolen from Eldon. Deputies arrested Randall Shepherd at the residence. On December 11, 2019 an additional suspect was taken into custody after a traffic stop by a deputy. Phillip D. Giller was interviewed and the investigation implicated that he and Shepherd stole the trailer from Eldon and possessed it in Texas County. Giller was also discovered to be a tier 3 registered sex offender who was residing in Texas County without registering with the Sheriff’s Office.28 year old Randall R. Shepherd, of Licking with stealing by knowingly retaining stolen property.  42 year old Phillip D. Giller of Licking with failing to register as a sex offender and stealing by knowingly retaining stolen property.
