$1300 dollar scam gets a Lebanon business
A Lebanon business was scammed out of nearly $13-hundred-dollars. According to Lebanon Police, they were contacted after an employee reported that she received a phone call from someone claiming to be the Regional Manager of Wendy’s, and instructed them to send $13-hundred-dollars for a Coronavirus Kit. Another employee stated that she told her not to send the money, but she went to Walmart and sent the money to a bank in Mexico, using the account information that was sent to her via text. During the investigation, it was learned the bank account was registered to a bank in Guadalajara.
