(Jefferson City)–Missouri 121st District State Representative Don Mayhew of Crocker, representing Northern Pulaski County and a large portion of Phelps County, has pre-filed several bills for the new legislative session.
House Bill 339 would allow Mayors in small communities to appoint people from outside the city limits to boards and commissions.

House Bill 340 would allow public access to the stolen gun database. If it passes, any person would be able to go online and submit the make, model, and the serial number of a gun they are considering buying, and find out if it is stolen or not. House 338 would make technical corrections to some of the laws about land surveying. And House Bill 690 would re-establish a tax edit for research and development. This bill would help finance the research and development of emerging technologies.
