Bolivar Man Dead, Two Teens Injured In Two Vehicle Accident

A 48-year-old Bolivar man was killed in a two-vehicle accident at 7:15 Wednesday morning on Route T, two miles southwest of Bolivar. The Missouri Highway Patrol reports that a car driven by a 16-year-old unnamed juvenile crossed the center line and struck a vehicle driven by Matthew D. Bushey head-on. Bushey was pronounced deceased at the scene. The juvenile driver and a passenger in his pick-up suffered serious injuries and were taken to Springfield Hospitals. Bushey was wearing a seatbelt. The two juveniles were not.
