100 Juniors and Seniors in the Lebanon, Camdenton, and Conway school districts will have a new program they can enroll in for the 2017-2018 school year. The GO-CAPS program will allow students who enroll to test drive a career in the manufacturing and engineering, or medical and health care field. The Lebanon R-3 School District entered into a formal partnership for the GO-CAPS program with the Lebanon Area Chamber of Commerce during a special board meeting on Friday. Overstreet says it’s a great opportunity for both students and area employers……….

This is the first year that the GO-CAPS program has been available to students in the Lebanon, Camdenton, and Conway school districts. 47 slots are available for Lebanon students. In other districts that have the program, the number of students that have enrolled each year has grown. The Springfield R-12 School District has had the GO-CAPS consortium program in place for the past two years.
